Personality: Amelia is a serious workaholic, if she could she would probably eat, sleep and pretty much live at her job. The only thing that drives her out of the work place is certain co-workers that drive her crazy.. She is obsessed with order and everyone doing what they are supposed to. If someone seemingly goes out of there way to mess up her system she tends to show her snippy aggravated side.

If someone can carefully get around her snippy, bossy and job obsessed exterior they will find a woman who is extremely passionate about life. Though due to a painful event in her past she refuses to face, That passion is currently directed solely at her job. When not Amy is a girl of extremes, can be incredibly sweet and understanding yet if then the mood she can also be the exact opposite. She has a fierce temper if pushed to far emotionally with a cold temperament that can last for a while if the issue isn't handled.

Amy has a soft spot for children, since the death of her daughter, any child has Amy wrapped around her little finger, however if the children are rotten this attitude changes a little of course. So long as you're a good kid Amy will treat you like Royalty.


History Amelia, though everyone calls her Amy, was born to Genevieve and Sven Cassidy both her parents are Doctors in the muggle world and she also has a older brother named Christopher. Amy was raised a lot by Nannies when she was a child since her parents work a lot in the local hospital. Christopher her brother was 5 years older then her and was off to boarding school by the time she was 3 years old. The minimum age that the boarding school allowed was 8 years old  so she rarely ever saw her brother with the exception of when he was home for the summer time.

All her Nannies were really strict with her and as a child she really didn't like them. She loved in the few hours when her parents were home since the showered her with affection and presents when ever they could. Her nannies were cold and harsh towards her only really caring that she got her educational work done ate all her food and kept her room clean.. Other then that they never played with her or were friendly with her at all. This often cause her to act out and give them temper tantrums all the time. It was around this time things started to go strange around the household glasses would break for no reason, sometime the Nannies hair would turn an odd colour right before their eyes and it was always when Amy was upset.

One day one of her Nannies simply ran out of the house leaving a 4 year old Amy in the house by herself in the middle of the day. By the time her mother returned home that evening she found Amy terribly upset, and very hungry as she hadn't been able to get anything to eat. She explained to her parents the nanny left her cause she thought she was possessed by a Demon. They sued the Nanny for leaving their daughter unattended and asked Amy's Aunt Amara to take care of her in the days they worked for the summer before Amy was to start school. Over the summer both Amara and Chris noticed the strange occurrences that seemed to happen around the little girl when ever she was upset. They told and showed her parents the issue and they weren't sure what to make of it. They asked professionals and all the sort only to discover it was all nonsense and everyone was simply guessing on what the thought was going on.

To stop Amy from causing these mysterious outburst her parents started giving her medication to keep her calm, and it did work to a point. But Amy didn't like them that made her feel weird and she started to think of herself as a freak or that there was something wrong with her. As the years went on despite being on medication to control her mood. Amy turned into a very angry and sad child and eventually not even her parents could make her happy especially her parents. Her brother seemed to feel sorry for her and tried over the summers he was home to cheer her up by offering to play games with her. She appreciated the effort but she soon lost her passion for much of anything and became very depressed by the time she was 11 years old. On her 11th birthday she was paid a strange visit by a older man with a long white beard and a strange name.

He explained that she was a witch and had magic that was what caused those outburst when she was angry. This gave the little girl hope, when he mentioned it a common thing to happen to young witches and wizards. Now that she was 11 she was old enough to attend a school for magic and be taught how to control her magic rather then suppress it like her parents had been doing to her. The thought of being able to control her magic on her own without medication lit a fire in Amy's eyes and all but begged her parents to allow her to go to this school. It took a lot of time and convincing and proving that the magical world was real and that is really was best for their daughter that they let her attend the school. But they eventually relented and let Amy go.

September couldn't come fast enough for Amy, for the first time in what seemed like forever she was going to a school with kids just like her. It felt like freedom.

Arriving in Hogwart she was sorted into Hufflepuff and already made a few friends. However she soon discovered not everyone was like her in this magical world. Some pure blooded wizards picked on her for being from a non-magical family. Of course she protested to this idea that being from a non-magical family made her any less capable. She got into a habit of getting into scrapy fights with those who bullied her only to get herself into trouble with the pure blooded families. When she was threatened with expulsion she backed down from the bullies and let them call her names biting her tongue the whole while. Eventually she got used to the name calling.

As she got older she put walls up around herself and jabs at her bloodline rolled over her like water on plastic. She studies to go into the magical medical career, to become a healer and quickly entered training after graduating from Hogwarts. She because a nurse first and still dreamt of being a healer, however unluckily for her the head of the hospital is was the father of one of classmates that used to bully her.. one of the bullies she happened to punch once. Her boss made it incredibly difficult to get a reference to get into healer training. She remained a nurse for years, but due to her exemplary work she was promoted to the head of the nurses.. Not a healer.. but close enough..

Then war started, a Dark Lord gained power claiming  muggles, muggle borns had no place in their world. He started getting followers from the purebloods and fear started to spread and the hospital started getting busier and busier.
